The Herzliya Congress Arena is a multi-purpose venue designed to host sports, conferences, and public programs, serving as a regional civic landmark.
Covering 19,800 m², the arena is part of the Herzliya ExSport Master Plan, a vision that blends event infrastructure with community life through walkable, green connectivity. The arena building forms part of an approximately 34,000 m² development that includes commercial spaces, an activity complex, and parking levels. Located within the city’s recreation district, it creates an active, flexible environment that also serves as a local hub for sports education, wellness classes, and public gatherings. With a capacity of 4,000 spectators, including 1,000 retractable seats, the arena supports a wide range of uses, from competitive games, including serving as a sports arena for Israeli Premier League basketball, to cultural performances, as well as a conference and events hall, establishing Herzliya as a regional destination for large-scale events. The project also includes a commercial center with restaurants, bars, and cafés, and a new urban plaza at the southern entrance to the arena. Circulation and access are supported by an underground parking structure with 372 spaces, along with additional logistics parking at ground level. More than just a venue, the project acts as a connector, stitching together the surrounding landscape with landscaped paths, shared surfaces creating a dynamic and inclusive civic environment. The Congress Arena reflects a new typology of public infrastructure: adaptable, integrated, and rooted in the community it serves.
