Kfar Yona Residential

A New Vision for Urban Living.

This housing project in East Kfar Yona reimagines a monotonous suburban grid, replacing uniformity with openness, variation, and a renewed sense of community.

The site, once dominated by identical H-shaped buildings, offered an opportunity to rethink the spatial logic of everyday residential development. The new plan introduces six elongated volumes of varying heights, positioned to maximize light, ventilation, and visual permeability. This shift not only breaks the rigid geometry of the grid but creates a more fluid and breathable urban rhythm. Each floor houses just two apartments, ensuring privacy and spatial quality for every resident. The ground plane is freed from vehicles and given back to the community — a shared landscape of gardens, gathering spaces, and quiet paths. Parking is relocated underground to preserve the calm of the public realm. Material choices and facade treatments further define the neighborhood’s identity, blending restraint with texture and depth. What emerges is not just a housing project, but a livable framework — a place where architecture restores balance between individual, collective, and environment. The result is a distinct residential setting rooted in clarity, comfort, and connection.
