A Landscape Chapter of a master plan for the city of Bat Yam which ingrates building, traffic, environment and irrigation aspects to create a holistic and integrated vision for the future public space of the city.

Based on extensive research, the plan combines the existing qualities of the city spaces (such as dense urban fabric, distinct Parks, and linear promenades) with future sustainable development principles. In the heart of the plan lies the ‘Green Network’ - a walkable and continuous open public space which offers connectivity between commercial and public hubs, Parks, the beach, and the City’s edges, while providing a necessary blue and green infrastructure.
